About Us

Happy at Home Cat Sitting was created in 2002 by Elizabeth Llewellyn, a qualified Feline Welfare and Behaviour Specialist and former veterinary nurse to give cat owners a pet sitting option EXCLUSIVELY for cats. There are many ‘pet sitting’ providers available but most of these are run by and for dog owners, with cats being treated as second class citizens. Happy at Home Cat Sitting puts cats first.

Elizabeth Llewellyn, the owner and creator of Happy at Home Cat Sitting, has 35 years of experience working with cats in a variety of settings including boarding catteries, breeding catteries, rescue organisations and veterinary hospitals. There has never been a time in her life that she has been without a cat or cats. Elizabeth doesn’t just love cats, she understands them! With over 20 years of experience medicating cats, she is  skilled at administering all medications including pills, capsules, liquid, injections (both SQ and IM) feline inhalers, and SQ fluids. Rest assured your cat will always be handled with gentle respect.
